My reliable source tells me we are trying to sign Osborne and the CB from Colchester but his wage demands are too high at the moment.                                      Russell will be coming in on loan from Preston and a young striker will be signed on loan from a Prem/Champ club.

    Well DVDDD said Doherty would be going, so 2 more CBs would make sense. Looks like Dailly could be staying so that would be 4 CBs.

    Russell would be another central midfielder, hard to see where he would fit in. I guess Pritchard won't be near the first team for now and could go out on loan. Jackson might be first choice on the left (with back up from Evina and Harriott, and maybe one of the other CMs if needed). Wiki also says Russell is known for his versatility.

    Cody McDonald? The club confirmed he is someone we looked at but Powell doesn't want him.

    Zak Ansah maybe?

    Sarto Russell was a big prospect when a youth at Norwich. Never met his potential. Maybe Mambo, Dailly, Taylor + 1?

    Tope Obadeyi told me himself that Powell had asked Bolton about taking him on a season long loan and he was very keen on coming. So he could be the other striker.

    Waggy could also be used as a 4th striker this season

    Hopefully we get Osbourne, he is meant to be quick which is something we've lacked for years at CB.

    Alot of options which is good

    Pritchard and Harriott I can see being loaned out to L2 for experience

    I'm pretty certain Zak Ansah will be with us next season...........so prob the loanee mentioned.

    If that is the case that leaves us short of the target man Powell is apparently looking for. Would prefer 5 strikers in the squad personally.

    I'm still hoping for Dave Martin off Derby as a replacement for Reidy although Obadeyi could also play wide left.As said above Hariott could be sent to L2 on loan.We need between 1 and 3 CB's depending what happens to Dailly and Doc.
    Then its a target man striker and maybe a young loanee up front.
