6,000 Addicks there to see a 1 - 1 draw before we beat them in the replay to win a quarter final trip to Old Trafford. 

Open Auction ending 6.00 pm on Tuesday 5 July.  Starting price is £3

You will need to add postage to the cost or be willing to collect from Bromley.

This is part of the Dryland family collection of Charlton Memorabilia donated to Bromley Addicks to raise money for the CAFC Academy.

    Oh the days I used to go to a lot of away games.  Don't remember it being too hostile in the ground, remember a certain menace outside the ground.  Just remember the atmosphere combusting when, was it Pitcher?, refused to throw the ball back after they'd kicked it out due to a minor injury to one of our players.
    Great day out even if they didn't offer us a dry cider afterwards.

    Sorry got one Henry, remember the day well though for the wrong reasons, got caught in a shower of misiles outside the ground with my then 14 year old son and his mate, both of them under my coat in case they got one on the head. Also remember singing 'You'll never get a ticket' (the Valley was restricted to 8,500 with no East Terrace before its redevelopement).

    Remember it well: a old "friend" (Tony Eamer) was walking back to the coaches we were "Stewarding" and some idiot hit him with a glancing blow: He turned and said" OI, whats that for ?" and the BC "fan" turned and said..."Sorry mate".
    Summed up the atmosphere that day......

    (Off the record, A woman called Fiona was on "My coach".......YES !! GET IN !! )
