................hasn't he done well.

Mr Powell , that is. Assuming both Francis & McOxo leave by this evening, and Morrison signs then CP has brought in a brand new team & got rid of some usless Tw**ts into the  bargain.

I think it is CP who should be tittled  " SIR"

he is already sir to me.

i think the board should get a mention too. they stuck to their promises of significant investment and backed powell to the hilt.

    very happy.

I think its half time Golfie, agreed good positive signings, can Powell make them play as a team, there is still a question over Powells tactics and crucially the timing of his tactical changes, including subs, I want him to succeed, I really do, I feel that if we are not in the top 3 come Xmas he will be for the chop! The board have set out their stall by giving Powell the money, anything short of promotion will be deemed a failure. Having said all that I have a good feeling about the coming season and I predict promotion for us, comfortably!!

You get nothing for a pair of tits from Southend, not in this game.

    Two thoughts on this.
    1. I REALLY hope we arent as short sighted as to give him such a limited time. Personally I wouldnt even review the 'product' of CP's efforts until the end of this season.
    2. With the board investing so much in what are, presumably at least to some extent, SCP's choices of building blocks it seems unlikely that they would jettison him quickly and have to go through the whole process again. Especially now as our cover is blown as astute 'cherry-picking poachers of talent'.

Good so far, but still have to see him turn them into a team. Remember summer 2007? It seemed like things were going well when Pardew signed a mixture of proven Champ players and promising players from the lower leagues and abroad.

I don;t think it will. Apparently they will be putting the "scores on the doors" instead.

Interesting story is that he supports Arsenal AND Tottingham.
Wiki says during the war Arsenal's ground was used for searchlights, so their games were played at WHL.
