I wonder who our first choice centre back targets were out of Morrison, Taylor, Osbourne and Okuonghae.

Does the signing of Morrison mean we now need no more centre backs as we have Morrison, Taylor, Doherty and possibly Dailly?

    we laso have Niklas Andersen, albeit on trial but you need four centre-backs, they tend to pick up yellow and red cards and it's quite an attrional position.

    If we sign him, perhaps it means Dailly will cover RB as we don't need 5 CBs? Or will Doherty leave?

    Failing that, perhaps Evina will cover Jackson at LM??

    I would rather have plenty of cover now , rather than being short of players because of injuries and suspensions / loss of form / fans getting on players backs.

    We need another CB and another RB imo, Andersen could be the CB, but that would still leave a gap where Francis was. If Morrison has been signed as a RB then we may need another CB as well as Andersen

    I agree, I think that we will get another RB in - not least since Francis looks to be Bournemouth-bound.

    In the interview on the OS Morrison said that he has been signed as a CB, therefore ideally we need another RB

    Shaun Derry could be the RB. 33 now but an old head might be useful and can also play def CM.

    But it looks likely Dailly will sign.

    If so,

    LB: WIGGINS (Evina)

    CB: TAYLOR, MORRISON, DOHERTY, DAILLY

    RB: SOLLY

    where does Andersen fit into that? Surely it means we won't sign Osbourne or Okuanghae?

    No, Morrison has said on the OS that he is here as a centre half. Don't panic, a right back will be with us soon
