Hi Firstly I'm new on here! Im 17 nearly 18 and been a ST Holder for 12 years! Seen many highs and many lows!

If a thread/discussion like this has already started (i cant found one) please ignore or redirect to the other thread.

My Starting 11 based on what we currently have to date would be;

    That most likely I think, but not sure on which keeper yet and obviously haven't seen Alonso.

    Not sure Powell sees Solly as first choice, but I'd like to see him get a run. Given a proper chance I'm sure he would impress.

    Why have so many people put Solly in the starting 11?




    He's a young player and certainly not the finished article and looks like he could develop into a tough player. I'd certainly start the season with him and give him the opportunity and see where he goes from there. It may be that he won't train on, but I like what I've seen so far and he deserves the chance. This time last year I'd never have thought that Carl Jenkinson would be moving to Arsenal. I'd rather not write players off too early.

    Plus he's the only RB at the club - if the rumours that Francis is on his waya are correct that is.

    Cant believe nobody has gone for Doc. He has the best pedigree of all our defenders, and without another slow CB next to him, may not be as exposed and can concentrate on being a beast in the air.

    hollands has to be in starting line up!! and i would love to see bover on the bench used as a inpact sub!!!

    Id play Elliot for the first few games and if he plays up to standard it will be hard to take away the number 1 spot.

    The way Bover has started he could push for that attacking role in midfield aswell this season.. MASSIVE competition in all areas especially in midfield! one more striker and a right back and we have the best strength in depth than any other L1 club. The best ive seen at charlton for years!!!

    A lot of consistency in the selections here.

    I think it is ironic that with Sir Chris as manager there is only one non-white player that has got the vote for the starting line-up, and its likely to be that way against Bournemouth. I'll buck the trend with my prediction. Anyway, bring it on!
