Why is Harriot NOT playing in the friendlies?
After all the hype about this kid, last year and with SCP saying that his has bangs of talent and will be a very valuable asset to CAFC in the coming years, why hasnt he travelled to spain or even played in the welling friendly?
Its seem a bit strange... dont think his been snapped up already do you? Hope Not!

thing is he is only 17 so a high intensity training tour in the heat may be a bit much especially if he is still growing?0

Probably just got a little injury. Cousins is out there and isn't playing, maybe Harriot is doing the same? Can only use 22.0

Everyone just needs to calm down!
Harriott is only a new second year scholarship, last year he was a first year. Harriott is in England training with the youth team as he is only 17 he will still be player U18s this year as well as reserves. Jason Euell, Harriott, Osbourne, Poyet etc are all training with the youth team.
You can't expect CP to take everyone to Spain with the senior pros. Davisson, Mambo etc are past second years now and are fully professional that's why they are with the squad.
This is one of the problems in our country, people get far too worked up and excited about a youngester who has made an impact early on, then people expect so much from them too soon, give him time to play in the reserves and improve that way before you see him in and around the first team.

If you mean players like Davisson who is playing ahead of him who wasn't involved last season, that is because Davisson is a year older and he was injured last season so he wasn't involved. He has only been given a 6 month contract so he can prove his fitness because they know he is a good young player.
Harriott will feature in pre season but not in the main games, maybe in games like Bromley when we play a CAFC XI

I wouldn't read too much into his non-appearance, he's what 17 years old? He'll be playing in the U19 team. The games he got last season were part of his education and nothing more and it was obvious then that Powell had decided not to retain Kyel Reid and Jackson was injured, so there was a place for him in the match squad. His time will come.0 -

Davisson and Bover are the only two he could really replace and they are 2 years ahead of him and are too old for the u18s.Doesn't mean the club rate Davisson higher than Harriott. Davisson has only got a contract until the end of December. Harriott signed pro a year early and now has a 2 year deal.As for Cousins I don't know if he's training yet, he could be having a break after recently coming back from the u17 World Cup.Whatever is going on, here is proof on Twitter that Harriott is definitely still with the club...

Callum Harriot, played for the youth team, in the friendly against Southend, on Saturday. Which we won 3-0. Hence, why he had no involvement in the Welling game.0
