So i'm looking to buy an old fairway (just for personal use). At the moment the major stumbling block is insurance, being 21 with no previous history (at least with cars, got a bike...) but i'll be able to sort that out one way or another...

Can anyone recommend a dealer to go and have a chat with/kick some tyres? I'm in the early stages of thinking about it tbh, and still need to scramble money together...but i'm pretty serious.

Cheers,

Oli.

If u look at www.ltda.co.uk their online magazine will have adverts of people selling. There should be a few on the market soon . Don't go to a dealer you'll pay top dollar
If you've got the time loads of garages in three colts lane e2
    Try Kingston and Wimbledon taxis

Would hang on until you have your money at the ready, there is a ruling going through which restricts the london cab to a shelf life of 15 years, this in turn would make all fairway taxis obsolete and available in there droves, doubt dealers will have any as not worth any money so prob be loads on the open market for you to buy!!

I dont know if you will be driving it in London but I believe not 100% but the older ones fall fowl of the new emissions zone coming in next year
