Very clever of the club. He made it clear a while back that he was interested in returning. The club allowed him to continue training and waited until his fitness was there before signing him, thus saving a months wages. :-)

Whilst ensuring that the fitness would indeed come back!
Not sure where Euell fits in but not complaining, we have plenty of options in midfield now (apart from perhaps no natural LM if Jackson is unavailable) and another option up front.
obviusly not the pacy striker Michael Sater was talking about after the Millwall game..........hopefully still another one to come in - probably a loanee,
Slater said we wanted both pace and a targetman.
Now we have Euell I can't see room for two more strikers, even if Benson leaves.
I think there will be times when we need the options of a pacey striker and a strong targetman.
Pleased with this. Don't expect him to play regularly, but his experience will be invaluable in replacing Dailly's, and when he does play, he'll chip in with goals as well. Excellent move by the club.
Perfect. CP really has got the ingredients in place for a tasty League 1 meal. Loving the blend of the best of the old staples and the best available new spices. Youth and experience together, with a trainee master chef.
Looked good a Bromley, had a big smile on his face and when the boys were warming down he looked the part. Great addition although his goals have dried up a bit in the higher leagues recently hope this will change with a club that really will support him
Bent cost us 2.5 million. Not sure who the most expensive signing was though. I thought it was Euell at 4.75 million. Jensen was 4 million. Please someone correct me if i'm wrong.
The handbook shows Darren Bent at over £5M - I guess it includes the share that Ipswich got when we sold him on to Spurs?
Must have done, Weegie ...... because he signed for £2.5 million from Ipswich, with their getting a 20% cut of any transfer fee over that figure when he was sold on.

Good signing - versatile, hard worker, loads of experience.
Am surprised he's only 34 - when Euell first played for us seems like another age!
Agree with this, plus it's good to welcome back a fans favourite.
on the o/s it says 'remains the clubs second most expensive signing'
who was more?!

Do you think we completed this deal as the Shlupp move wont go ahead now?

That crossed my mind too.
Claus Jensen £5 million
Delighted Euell is back - really looking forward to seeing him in our red and white again!!
