Anyone else taking the train back via Leeds?  Got my train tickets, seems a lot cheaper and the journey is not much longer.

Reckon if we beat Sheffield Wednesday (first real test of the season) it'll boost the numbers travelling, coupled with the fact that we haven't played them on a weekend for 200 years.

    £26.40 return. That with a YP railcard though. If your're above 25 I guess it would be about £38.

    Got my adult ticket, Manchester return for £30, but did book at the end of June.

     

    NB Match tickets are now on sale (but not online) Adult £20, Concessions £14, Family = 1 adult & 1 kid £25.

    9:00 from ldn for me, 18:18 back, long ole day. approx. 8 lager fuelled hours

  • All booked mine now, £20.15 on the 11:00 from London to Manchester, £2.30 single to Rochdale and £13.85 on the way back via Leeds, not too bad I spose

    For those going by train I think there are engineering works between dartford and gravesend with replacement bus, so plan your journeys in advance

    have to remember they have to allow for various pick-ups, at least two stops plus additional time in case of traffic problems. As AFKA says should be able to drive it in four hours. Parking around the ground not too bad.
