  • Yes they did! Cant believe that,i dont know who makes that decision but they mustve been watching another game...
  • Joke.  Rob Jones all day long - he was a rock for them.

    I agree Weegie
  • Couldn't believe it. I looked at my brother. My brother looked at my uncle. My uncle looked at me all in silence

Had to go to Taylor or Morrison
  • Is that for real?

He scored an illegal goal, after one of his teammates took Hamer out, and got booked.and that's it.
And for that he got MOM?
I seriously wonder what's the point of Sky's coverage at this level. We get about 80k, but probably lost the same amount by not playing on Sat. SW would have brought twice as many for a start.

Morrison was good, but wasn't our best player Solly? As for Clinton Morrison as MoM...do me a favour!
  • Solly was our MOM. Jones should've been given MOM though.

Just fast forwarded through the game and saw this. Couldn't believe it! All he did was get his goal, mouth off to the ref and constantly get caught offside. Convinced there was a mix up and they grabbed the wrong Morrison.

I'm not being funny but I think you could be right there

They must have gave it to the wrong morrisson. Agree solly had a very good game aswell. Back 4 were all good tonight. Taylor wins everything in the air

I thought Solly got pushed off the ball too many times and looked a bit off the pace last night. To be honest, nobody really stood out. Brads done well, top notch finish but we didn't bring him into the game enough. I'd probably go for Morrison (ours, not theirs) as he was playing against his former employees and along with Taylor, handled them well. Can't really comment on their team as I couldn't make out the names or numbers on their silly tesco's carrier bag shirts.
  • I thought Semedo was superb for them...

Got lucky with the slight dfelection off JJ's head taking it over our defenders and did his best to miss from less than a yard out - done nothing much else- a man of the match performance compared to Solley or Morrison and yes even Semedo who had a very good game ?- bit of a joke call tbh.

Solly has been great for us so far this season. Can't fault anything about his game at all.

I think it says more about palarse when you see that morrison was a "legend" for them.

    Two bob prick.

Lets be honest, TV MoM awards always go to the player who scored either the winner/equaliser, or more than one goal per game, because it doesn't require any real talent/intelligence.  Its just lazy journalism, but thats life.

I couldnt believe it. Such a soft goal he scored. Lucky, the speed it was going deflected off his head. Did you see his reaction the Palace scumbag. Defo going to the return fixture to hurl abuse at him.

Prutton was MoM. Semedo went sideways & backwards as he always does.

I saw Samedo attacking in our half last night... twice ! For me BWP was MoM, quality goal, lots of running, never gave up despite poor support.

Taylor was man of the match for me and as for Sky giving it to that fat gobby palace reject just goes to show what a stupid award it is.

Rob Jones overall by far. But for us its a tight call between Taylor and Solly for me.
  • Morrison (Sheff.Weds) made Me laugh last night when most of the Covered End were giving Him stick He just laughed and waved: People going mad and screaming abuse, and He just loved it: Then He scored, like Defoe used to........

bang on... really annoying wen they jst give it to the bloke that scored last!

I thought our back 4 were very good last night, Wiggins for me was the best I've seen him play, and more importantly Taylor and Morrison showed they are a hard pair to get past.
  • Hollands for me was MoM

    their no.14
  • I thought Solly was really strong and completely killed any threat they
had from the left. Hollands battled hard as well and stopped Chris Lines
from creating much. If only Stephens had imposed himself and we'd used
Waggy more. Prutton was their best player but he also played a dirty,
anti-football game of tripping our players whenever we built up
momentum. He also looks like Guy Pearce in The Road. Considering that's a
film about the fall of civilisation and society it's not a great
    comparison
