The wait is over - my other half has been saving these up since 2021 for a special occasion.

I have around 20 shirts, dating back to the Quaser days, but mostly away and third colours. I have a couple of red from the past few years, and a Redbus, but I think the copy/retro Adidas Woolwich shirt will finally get worn.

Been on a run wearing the 2002 all:sports shirt recently. Wore it for Hudders 4-0, Wycombe 4-0, 0-0 and 1-0, so I’m going to stick with it.

I wore a new pair of red socks (with my Che Hales shirt) on Thursday, so naturally they'll have to continue their one match unbeaten run.

I wore a blue Fred Perry shirt in the 2019 final which I was convinced had gone to the charity shop. About to throw out some stuff at the dump today and there it was in one of the bags - it’s been saved, washed and will be reappearing tomorrow. Hopefully it brings some luck again.

My two youngest  will  be wearing colours including my daughter wearing the Woolwich 91-92 shirt I wore as mascot. I’ve tried to convince my 17 year old to wear the Bauer home shirt he wore in 2019 which would probably fit him now but he’s not having it…..

I spoke to my wife this morning. I was recounting what shirt I had worn to which big game, and how some were 'unlucky' hence the result on given days. She advised me that the shirt worn by fans made no difference whatsoever to the end result. Clearly her advice was ill-informed and of no benefit to any football fanatic. Red Woolwich it is, with Seb coming along too..... Many Miles!!

If you’re not one to wear colours, I always see Wembley days as the exception.

I wore a red polo at Wembley last and wore it again for the Wycombe game last week. I don’t really want to wear it again but feel like I need to.
The fact there is a small doubt in my mind that the performance of our squad after a 10 month season will be determined by the top i wear and not those of the 75,000 other people there just shows how ridiculous we all are
I'm the same with betting, whatever i back loses... so I've placed small bets on the 3  potential way that Orient can win lol.
    My form continues

The lucky Back to the Valley shirt has been dusted off for another outing ... it worked in 1998 and 2019 and it's bloody well going to work again!

I was gonna go with the centenary shirt but seeing lots of people sticking with what they wore in 2019 so might stick with the Charlton polo I wore.
I doubled back and went centenary in the end. So if you saw a “super Clive 10” shirt it could have been me.

I won’t go as far to say it was my favourite thing about the day 😉 but it was bloody brilliant seeing so many classic shirts
