Today as we approach the big day I want to say this is our time. Win or lose, we are coming back together as one.
Call it my weird sixth sense or perception but I knew something special would happen this year.
When I got my son (now 18), my Dad (80 next year) and myself (a Derbyshire resident) Season tickets in the North Stand behind the goal it took me back to being a kid, going to Charlton games with my Cousin and his mate and loving just being part of it.
I was there at our last game in the Directors box and remember crying my eyes out as fans got on the pitch and protested. I was too young to know the full reasons but I knew we may never play at The Valley again.
We all know what happened from there. Upton Park, Selhurst, Lennie, Gritt and Curbs, Curbs, Les Reed, Pardew, Parkie, Spivs, Roland, Southall, Sandgaard, CM, AS, Dean Holden, Appleton and on and on it has gone
Not now
The time has come.
Sadly my Dad isn't fit enough to come to Wembley today but I'm there with my boy, the missus, Aunt, Uncle, Cousins, Friends.
It's our time.
Enjoy the day. Win or lose. Sing your hearts out. We are on the right track.
@Callumcafc PM me. I owe you a beer. Your belief is infectious.

I have been in bits for days but now I’m at Wembley I’m fine mainly because I also think we are truly on our way back regardless of today’s result
