We will have Charlton, Millwall and QPR in the Championship next season, but what are their chances of succeeding? There are already markets for next season’s Championship campaign, and from those markets, we can gleam the predicted table even weeks before the start of pre-season.
It's a bit early for odds compilers for that sort of market but, unless you don't mind backing odds on shots, I wouldn't be inclined to get too excited about the price.
Parkinson said on the Sky Sports highlights to NJ 'we'll be going for the same players'. I don't know how true that might be or how much we plan to spend but then nor does anyone. Therefore how can anyone make odds on this? Lumping on a few quid for us is a long shot but the bookmakers are taking a risk.
Personally though, I'd be delighted to finish the season 21st, losing 4-0 last game of the season with our rival this time not scoring a late goal to jump above us. Survival has to be the aim this time. Beat the bottom ten teams at home to get 30 points and grind out 4 away wins, and 8 draws home or away. 50 points. Job done.

Parkinson is obviously going to say that though if he goes Yh we have the money to go sign the best players in the division clubs are just going to go we know you have more money give us extra if he says we’re competing in the same ballpark as Charlton other clubs may look at one of their offers and go well we can’t really rinse them for much money if they haven’t got the funds. A lot of clubs won’t be dumb enough to fall for his obvious bs comment but he’s still got to say it.
