    Ralph Milne was from Dundee United and when we sign him he had been playing the European games but wasn't playing league matches for some reason ?
    When he ran out for his debut he looked impressive then he coughed his heart out for a minute !
    This was at Selhurst park.

    Ralph Milne only played 22 games and no goals for Charlton and one of Ferguson's strangest signing via Bristol City when he played 23 games and 3 goals for United.

    Milne had talent but loved the beer too much and died at the young age of 54 after having liver issues.

    Ex youth team keeper who once made it into the first team squad as an unused sub in an FA Cup game I believe.
