Would rather have our squad than Wrexham's. Too many older over the hill players they'll need to replace and not convinced Parky is going to last if things started badly. Ryan Hardie is a decent signing but they're going to need a serious clear out.
Not too sure about that.
Sam Smith, Ryan Hardie, Max Cleworth, Arthur Okonkwo, Oli Rathbone, James McClean, Ryan Barnett, are all good players. Then our ex- players like Dobson and O'Connell have done really well there.
There's also the fact they finished 7 points above us, didn't lose to us and absolutely demolished us at their place if we are honest. I don't see how we have the better squad in these circumstances.
I am done with underestimating them personally. They were the most rounded team other than Birmingham I saw us play all season, and their home support was miles better than any other ground I visited. They're in a great position footballing wise.
OConnell doing well ? 😂 If you watch the goals they have conceded he’s responsible for about half of them.
O'Connell in the championship will get absolutely destroyed. Dobson will have to learn he can't dive in all the time too.
O'Connell wouldn't get anywhere near our side even as depth I'd rather have Alex and Zach Mitchell.
Just don't get the hype with Wrexham in general , just because they've got Hollywood owners that make social media videos and throw a few quid around.
I agree. Always thought OConnell was a very poor player and certainly will be well out of his depth in the Championship. He’s always got a mistake in him and is so slow.

Yes he did very well.
Part of a Wrexham team that got promoted, was their highest rated player across the season, comfortably.
Made the team of the week 4 times, only missed games through injury, was one of their most featured players
Defensively he averaged 7.8 clearances a game (most in the league) if we compare him to Lloydy, he won an average of 6 headers a game (73%) to Lloyds 7.4 (69%), lost possession 12.5 times a game compared to Lloyds 13.9. Total duels won a game 8.2 (71%) compared to Lloyds 9.6 (69%)
So to say a player hasn't had a good season when he was a mainstay in a promoted side, smashed all the data stats and from what I can tell Wrexham fans still want him, just doesn't seem particularly true.
O'Connell is a good footballer, has been for a while.
Millwall sign striker Josh Coburn on a permanent from Boro
Spent 5M on him, if a small club like Millwall can afford to drop that kind of money on one player no clue how we’re meant to compete at this level.
£5m feels steep for a 22yr old with a middling goalscoring record. Thought he looked good a couple of seasons back for Bristol Rovers on loan but that's it.
From what I’ve heard it’s not 5 million up front. Not even close. It’s in instalments and has lots of add ons. Will only get to 5 mill if all the add ons get fulfilled over the course of his contract.

Fair enough! Couple of million with a bunch of add-on's sounds a lot better for him than £5m.
QPR now have Poku, Harvey Vale, Ilias Chair & Karamoko Dembele as wide/attacking midfielder options. Very greedy of them.
Very, not sure how they have done this surely you have to wait until the under 21's is over and players come out of contract on July the 1st,I'm baffled.
QPR have had a very good day. Would have loved both those players. But goodness knows if the manager they’ve hired is any good. Fingers crossed he’s done by Christmas because he’s rubbish.

My god, if 5m gets you 5 goals in 20 games in the Championship then football is well and truly fucked.
Deceiving stat. A lot of those appearances were as sub. Also brings more to the game than goals. Holds the ball up well. Draws defenders away. A good partner for Ivanovich. Still only 22 as well. I’m reasonably happy with the signing.
Norwich's answer to having the 6th worst defence last season is just to sign loads of goalkeepers then. 3 of their signings so far have been keepers as they've already signed Louie Moulden and Dan Grimshaw.
They know they can only play 1 of them at a time right?

The new guy seems to be the first choice, so it seems quite excessive to bring in 2 backups as well, when they still have 2 other keepers on their books!

Norwich sign GK Vladan Kovacevic from Sporting CP
Assume that means they won't be signing Sam Tickle now who they have been linked with.

Preston keeper Freddie Woodman has signed on a free for Liverpool as their 3rd keeper.
