  • Thanks for putting these together @Scoham

Only a select few out of contract this time next year (& without a club option) which is very encouraging to see.

On the other hand, a number of first team contracts expiring in 2027 as it stands. Would expect a number of those to be revisited over the course of this season and new, longer deals to be negotiated. Especially for those who step up and prove themselves.
  • Fully expect Gas and Terry Taylor to be moved on and possibly Alex Mitchell. Probable loans for Kanu, Asiimwe and maybe for Dixon and Mbick.

Hopefully Gas gets moved on, but not sure who is going to take him, unless he is happy for a wage reduction, or we get him out on loan and pay part of his wages, more than likely a significant chunk.

Is there any info on what his wages are? I would really hope we dont have him as a passenger next season.

Also, would TT be deemed a like for like replacement for Alex Gilbert? And are either of them ready for a Champ season?

I don't have a clue what the answer is, but all I can see is there is plenty of work for NJ and the team to do!
  • Terry Taylor has a really bad ankle injury he wont be moved on in the summer probably move him on in the winter
  • So… we should sign any left wing back as son as possible!

    Saludos desde Madrid ☀️

Taylor going nowhere got a serious ankle injury that needed surgery and will miss start of the season .. Alex Mitchell will stay.

Thought Northampton would have put an offer in, though maybe the injury has put them off?

They’re not going to buy a player who’s injured smart thing to do would be wait till he’s fully fit back November-December time and then go in for him again in January and him having 6 months left on his deal they can get him cheap

As we have people ITK on CL is anyone aware if it keeps being the same ankle and problem for Terry ?

Having broke my Fibula bone twice in 18 months in the same right leg low down by the ankle joint it took a screw and surgery to repair ruptured ligaments and months in different moon boots.

I don't do contact sports anymore other than the odd high tackle on CL and receiving some as well so it must be difficult for footballers who need to have the confidence to compete after injuries.

Miles Leaburn as well as TT.

Kevin Nolan the Northampton manager said it was the same problem he was having before, think hes had surgery to fix it

"Col (Colin Calderwood) spoke with Terry last week,” said Nolan. “It's unfortunate because he came off with an injury in the last game of the season and it's the same ankle that he's had a bit of trouble with in the past."
