Thought he came across well but said nothing of note other than he promises we will be competitive and are still trying to purchase the Valley from RD10
-
Simon Jordan will be welcome back at the Valley. Food and wine OK apparently.0
-
Extra revenue for going up £10 million (or did he say £10-£11 million?)0
-
Cawley has put a few quotes on Twitter0
-
Jordan said we need a ten year lease if we go up, we dont currently have that.
Was also coy when asked if we would move.0 -
Is that right he said something along the lines of 'anything is possible' when asked if we could move away from the Valley? Could do with some context if anyone is able?0
-
No wine, he'll only be offered Tangoletthegoodtimesroll said:Simon Jordan will be welcome back at the Valley. Food and wine OK apparently.5 -
Well it's a better position than 'Roland's got us over a barrel and we'll pay him anything to stay'Gribbo said:Is that right he said something along the lines of 'anything is possible' when asked if we could move away from the Valley? Could do with some context if anyone is able?23 -
Yes, that's exactly what he said.Gribbo said:Is that right he said something along the lines of 'anything is possible' when asked if we could move away from the Valley? Could do with some context if anyone is able?
The discussion will probably be available to hear again on the TalkSport website shortly after 13.00

Surely we have to say publicly that we'd be willing to move away if we had to. It's the only possible leverage we have over RD.25

That’s because he also said talks with Roland about buying the Valley or extending the lease were ‘ongoing’; androbroy said:Jordan said we need a ten year lease if we go up, we dont currently have that.
Was also coy when asked if we would move.
valuations of the Valley’s worth needs to be looked at from a commercial perspective and there’s not much a property developer can do with the land.
its was also said and seemed to be agreed by W and J that the Valley is a great stadium, fit for purpose and had a great atmosphere3 -
I missed this but that’s right, the £10-11m in additional TV revenue has been mentioned elsewhere.letthegoodtimesroll said:Extra revenue for going up £10 million (or did he say £10-£11 million?)0 -
41k tickets sold for Wembley and 9k on the waiting list…(somebody correct me if I misheard that)2
-
Cawley mentioned that on his podcast last weekScoham said:

Has to be coy really. Even if they didn't want to move the threat of moving is something to bargain with RD I assume.robroy said:Jordan said we need a ten year lease if we go up, we dont currently have that.
Was also coy when asked if we would move.

moving from the Valley would cost many millions as, at present, a sale of the Valley is not available to finance any move. If we eventually buy back the Valley, what is the point of moving unless we get into the Premier ? and then, move to where ?1
-
He repudiated claims that he was a stunt double for Gerry Adams in the upcoming biopic "Cuddly Terrorists".10
-
Maybe, but it don't have to be one or the other.cafcnick1992 said:
