RIP - such a distinctive voice
  • Was just reading about her the other day. She had a good innings and an interesting life.

Saw her in Oxford St once, way back in the eighties.  She had a very distinctive look! RIP

She seemed to always be on the TV when I was a kid.
    A fabulous life/career.

I worked in her house when I was a teenager and was a little nervous about meeting her, when she came through she said to me “good morning young man, how are you”

To which I nervously replied getting tongue twisted “not very well thank you”

I felt a right twat but soon got over it and had a laugh with her over the remainder of the contract

    RIP Cleo

Loads of memories of seeing her along with her husband Johnny Dankworth on tv regularly when I was a kid. Great music and what a voice. RIP
