So, here we are match No.4 of the Pre-Season, and dare I say, the first serious competition we have encountered so far, today we travel to a meeting with Cambridge United at The Cledara Stadium, Cambridge are currently plying their trade in league two after suffering relegation last year, not helped by a our double over them in Dec 24 and April this year.
So, I am sure they will be up for trying to turn us over in this "friendly", and I am also sure that a certain Neil Harris will be doing all he can to facilitate that, it will be a tricky test for us, but one in which I feel we should be able to continue our fine start to pre-season with another win, and hopefully a clean sheet
Team selection should see Kaminski between the sticks, but we are unlikely to see the likes of Berry or Godden, as they are getting over niggling problems as identified by Nathan last week, and wont be risked in pre-season...
Anyway, it's just a friendly, all about minutes on the pitch, so let's see how we go...
Team...

Was expecting to see Dixon given a run out but played for the U21s on Thursday so we’ll see, could be the same for Enslin etc too

Ramsay and Burke missing again. Assume trialist A is Lembikisa0
-
No Ramsay again,
I heard Burke is injured, don't shoot the messenger.0 -
343 with JRC RWB?0
-
NJ said Ramsay would play today. This will get the conspiracy theories about him leaving going again.
Is that 3-4-3 or one of TC/Apter at RWB and the other as a 10?0 -
Hmmm no Ramsey0

Still no Godden or Berry?0

Before everyone goes nuts about players missing, a lot can happen in training between Wednesday night and today3
-
I wouldn't fancy having to deal with Leaburn and M'Bick up front.
Triallist 'B' huh?1 -
Looks 433 to me0

Ahadme back in the boat0

Ahadme on the bench! His best spell in football was at Cambridge, so maybe a return loan can be arranged.2
-
Ahadme on the bench, doubt he'll pay for Kelman but interesting nonetheless0
-
We’re trying to remind Neil Harris that his old mate Ahadme still exists and he can be yours for the low low price of free.7
-
We keep being linked with right backs and have signed rankin c so slightly worrying on ramsay1
