digital season tickets

hi Everyone

hoping for some help. I've got a digital ST this season, but im on hols for the first game and would like.to.lend it to my freind. I've got the ticket in my google wallet.. do I just screen shot it and send to my mate ?

    You should be able to share it from the wallet app using your chosen format, text, email, WhatsApp etc

    Just checked mine on Google wallet and sharing had been disabled by pass issuer, I assume its the same through Apple.

    Shortsighted approach if that’s the case. ST holders, more so from this season,  will most likely not make every home game. In recent seasons we have dragged along somebody else if a ticket wasn’t going to be used. That’s resulted in two new season ticket holders, neither of whom were Charlton fans, who have since bought a Season Ticket.

    It’s just a QR code, no? So you can just screenshot it and share. Maybe some more brainier than me knows if it uses NFC

    The framework is in place on the booking website to share/resell season tickets, they just haven’t implemented it yet. 

    For what it’s worth I’ve had no problem taking a screen shot of mine on my iPhone

    No reason that wouldn't work, as diebythesword said its just a QR code that doest change so a screenshot will work - although my Google wallet wont allow screenshots in the app so id have to take a photo on a different device and sent the photo.

    Not really. The FAQs explain the preferred process for having someone else use your ticket.

    No. 5 My friend wants to use my season ticket for a match, is this possible?
    Yes. We would advise fans to contact the Ticket Office to have the matchday ticket assigned to your friend.

    I've emailed the ticket office to ask about this twice and they haven't replied yet. Last season I had physical - they'd send an e-ticket if I emailed in advance to ask but surely better for all involved if that wasn't necessary for digital season tickets
