Our last win was 29 years ago (let that sink in) - can it be any different under Jones? This match will be my 60th birthday weekend so I’m already prepared for the Charlton kick in the bollocks.7

Sorted. One for me and for my brother. But a lot of that chunk of the East Stand, block G near where Airman &Co sit, was already sold out.
Just wondering, if this sells out, will it be the first time for this fixture? I certainly can't remember a match where it did. I can remember the first one I went to as a kid, was 29,000, and there was a gasp when the announcer gave the figure at the end of the game. But that was the old Valley, could have easily handled twice that number

Seems as if they also have somewhat ridiculous loyalty points issues when buying tickets.1

I've only heard of this from our pal who purchases in person from the Ticket Office but the "process" sounded very odd /clunky as it required those who benefit from said allocation to ring the TO after the match had been attended in order for the points to be added to their accounts.....if you follow.
So, if this IS the case this season, why hasn't it been announced & clearly posted on the OS and especially the Purchasing Tickets link ???
Another example of lack of communication IMO which should be a priority and includes the issue around when ticket sales go offline on a matchday as someone posted in another thread.1 -

Hopefully it will be a dry day where walking and getting a bus becomes a decent option.
Plans to run to Woolwich have had to be abandoned because of expected congestion from the Charlton Athletic v Millwall match at The Valley. The SE London derby kicks off at 12.30pm on the same day, and the museum had been planning the heritage day for months before the fixture date was known.

See Millwall have sold out their allocation, see on the socials that they are now going to try and get tickets in one of our home ends, that should be fun 😉0

we always sell out London derbies, always have. Even when we was struggling in the 3rd tier and getting home crowds of 7 and 8000 we would always sell out at places like Fulham and Brentford with ease.Obviously there’s a lot more to this one as it’s as local as it can get. And Everyone does seem really up for it this timé. Tickets went really quickly. Probably because we haven’t played for a few years now and there’s a real feel good factor at the club anyway. Norwich sold out last week and lots of people who wanted to go couldn’t.Be interesting to see how quickly your tickets go for the game at our place in January. If you’re riding high and doing well I reckon they’ll go just as quick.I know all this talk of cup finals etc is just a wind up and an attempt to get a bite but the truth is these games SHOULD sell out quickly. As I’ve said on here before, if you can’t get excited about a game v your local rivals then you might as well jack it in.33 -
