  • Norwich win the delayed game at Wrexham, Pompey win at Wednesday, so we're still just 5 points above the drop.
Blackburn and West Brom both lost this weekend though... So have extras we can think about now, between us and the three you mention.

Still can't see Norwich not climbing away at a steady pace.

Did Swansea hold on for a win, just for the record, and to save me clicking away to a different source, TIA?

More teams being pulled into the mix though, anyone from 13th (because of the supposed Leicester points deduction) down could all be at risk to some extent
I've given up on the Premier League/EFL doing anything about Leicester.

I presume they're hoping everyone forgets about it and moves on. Absolute disgrace it wasn't sorted out pre-season.

Leicester wait and see with points deduction.
Southampton too good won’t be involved.
Swansea have hit form they’ll be safe.
    Sheffield United won’t be there.
Norwich are picking up/investing they should be safe.

Realistically looking at us Blackburn Pompey and maybe West Brom for that final relegation spot as Oxford are probably already down

Cue Oxford going on a 10 game winning run.

Certainly wouldn't right them off just yet.
  • February could be brutal for Oxford. In the league they have 4 away games to start the month, as their home game has been called off due to the FA Cup.

    Sheffield United (A)
    Coventry (A)
    Middlesbrough (A)
    Stoke (A)

Hopefully be well cut adrift by the end of the month.

I wouldn't write anyone off from Leicester downwards.

Oxford are a competitive side. Probably not good enough to stay up, but they aren't being heavily beaten when they lose, and are capable of unexpected wins, e.g. Southampton in December and Leicester in November.

They've got home games against WBA, Norwich, Blackburn, us and Sheffield Wednesday to play.

Anyone would think Parky and Dobbo have it in for us.

West Brom look in absolute freefall under their new manager.

Osmajic sent of for Preston for a headutt tonight, the same Osmajic that has been banned for 17 games for biting and racial abuse. What an idiot

Both West Brom and Blackburn in big trouble. Norwich will soon overtake us and pull free. Oxford look more solid with two consecutive home 0-0 draws, but need to start winning games.

Pompey play at Watford tomorrow, we need a Watford win.
