Depends where you're going to and what you want to eat. Royal Oak is closest and will be heaving, otherwise plenty of places to drink and eat in Greenwich, woolwich, blackheath depending which direction you are going and whether you want to walk, drive, train or bus
  • Home is Bexleyheath, but looking around the Greenwich and Blackheath area .I will have  my grandson as well

    The O2
    plenty of choice for food.
If you're on public transport bus straight to Bexleyheath.

Blackheath is always a good option for ease of commute and options before getting a direct train to Bexleyheath.

The Pilot on the way to the O2 is a good Fullers pub which looks after its cask ales (usually 4 of them) pretty well, and the food is good.

We're going to either of them, depends on the first train we get on after the game.

We just don't care. Not really a mystery as been to both.

The real mystery is if we got the train the other way to Woolwich, Plumstead, Abbey Wood and further.

Walk to the Plume via the Vanbrugh....assuming it's still open.

I think the Vanbrugh has changed its name.
    But I might be wrong.

Can recommend the Pelton Arms after the game, not far to the Plume if you want a bit of variety.
