RIP Fellow Addick

It was a fitting tribute yesterday to Jorge, Pierre and Ethan and the tribute to the latter on the players shirts was a lovely touch too.

But there was a mention at half time for fellow Addicks who'd sadly passed away over the close season. Now I wasn't listening intently and I'm sure most would have missed this but my ears pricked up at one point and it's been on my mind since and I think it deserves a special mention here.

A young lady sadly passed away whilst giving birth to her twin daughters. I didn't catch her name or her families names I'm afraid.

But I'd just like to pass on my sincere condolences to her partner, her family and friends and especially to her two daughters who tragically have lost their mum before they could get to know her.

RIP young lady, you left us having done a wonderful thing.

    Every year the club have a Remembrance Day for fans who have passed away in the previous 12 months - each name is listed on the big screen - provided her family inform the club her name will be on there

    RIP - so sad to deliver 2 lives, but sadly not survive the births 

    Others on here will have better info about when the remembrance match is, and what to do

    yes we heard that too. horrific. as a dad of two young kids I couldn't imagine them losing their mum like that and what the family are going through.

    I have twin daughters myself, I've not stopped thing about this tragedy. RIP Andrada, my sincere condolences to James and the little girls.

    As a father of two daughters I get the absolute joy of having the two little princesses in your life.  I can't fathom the pain and how lost you must be feeling, the 19th of May should have been the greatest day in your life, but it will always be tainted by such an incredible loss.
