Can you ask them how they're going to deal with the 2 Tyreec/se Campbells issue when we play Sheffield United? Is Tel having nightmares already?

    Good question, will use that.

Two fantastic and genuine guys and fans to the core. Must be a dream come true for them to have evolved in doing what they do, and having sat in the audience with Terry at these things in the past, I can imagine this is going to be very surreal for them both!

Hope they have a great night

    No Brownie….
    Had him last year
  • They might be able to get a word in edgeways with no Brownie there
  • Can someone ask Greg what a “chip ball forward” is?

  • Very honoured to be asked to do this and as @AFKABartram says, it will be very surreal (thanks for the kind words by the way!).

Looking forward to sharing some of the mad things that have happened over the last decade with Telboy. Lots of memories on ownership, transfers and CharltonTV nights out to share I’m sure.

Oh and @EveshamAddick - it’s a weird quirk of mine. Another way of saying a forward pass…

Most of Terry and Greg's stories, especially the one with the ex-manager, the donkey and bag of cocaine, are so risqué they can't be repeated on here.

Makes perfect sense Greg. Would much rather listen to you and Tel on comms than the Sky guys - at least you know who our players are (well, mostly!).

It should be a fun night…I’ve always enjoyed their commentary, including Brownie, and prefer to pay Charlton TV than watch the match via Sky.

Now you've given the punchline away and ruined the story!

Another very good evening thanks to the two excellent guests.

Too many stories and opinions to share even if I could remember them all but confirmation that Karel Fraye didn't sneak out of Huddersfield in a laundry basket.  It was actually the kit van because he'd been summoned to a meeting and the team coach had already left.

Can you remember the answer to the 2 TCs question?

Tel is away for the Sheffield game so he said it would be Greg's problem.

It got wrapped up in a longer answer about unusual player names and how Greg is very professional and researches pronunciation but often it will be "The Watford Keeper" when they are still struggling.

Tel said he was pulled up by one of the U21s staff about mispronouncing Josh Laqeratabua's name but he was actually saying in right.

Greg Docherty got a lot of praise for his captaincy off the pitch and the unseen, by many, work he does on it.

The story about coke and hookers with a former manager on a Charltonlife admin night out is one to remember. All paid for by our subs of course
  • An excellent evening, thank you for organising.

They really were good guests, so humble and funny, a credit to the club, you can see they bleed Charlton!

    Excellent guests as always.
The guests pretty much always exceed expectations or at the very least live up to them.

Disappointed Greg’s entry into sports journalism didn’t feature the three years writing the Match Previews on here 🤣

Only joking, was a thoroughly enjoyable night, both spoke excellently and come across really well. Well done guys 👏

the bar ran out of ale and bottled beer but a good night regardless.
