I've chatted to him today, he's optimistic about our chances at Preston. Hopefully he's right. Lovely fella.1

With our postal service you could post off the home shirt from this season and it would be retro before it arrived in Uganda. Nice touch though.Henry Irving said:

We at CAST are always wanting to help and promote these causes, but appreciate we have to be very sensitive towards fans as well as different cultures and incomes.TootingRedArmy said:Princess Fiona...who from Charlton & CAST would be able to help Wogli
of course UK visa entry is challenging, but with club's support etc it may be possible
lets see and be good to have lifers suggest who to speak to.....
whilst we throw around the ‘a few hundred pounds/a few grand’ to fundraise, that amount of money is life changing in places like Uganda- so it’s not a small feat!I will put it to the board, who already know there are musings of a crowd funding Wogoli’s visit, but from my POV it may be easier (and quicker!) if a separate fan starts this gofund page in the first instanceThat’s fantastic news sammy391 that this will be discussed by the CAST board much appreciated!
Myself, fellow Lifers, CAST members, and the wider Addick's family only became aware of our young Ugandan fan Wogoli Willington thanks to CAST’s fantastic article and it’s been truly heart-warming to see how far our club’s spirit reaches. Any crowdfunding initiative would definitely have a much greater impact if it were organised through CAST, as the recognised supporters’ group, rather than by individuals alone.
We all understand the challenges with visas and logistics for Wogoli, but surely part of CAST’s role is to champion and support Addicks wherever they live in the world. It’s brilliant to see this kind of discussion happening, and I’ve no doubt that with CAST’s backing, the whole fanbase will get behind our young supporter in Uganda. COYA's

I'm loving this! I don't know what his Visa situation would be to get over here for a game but I would happily donate. I've seen him post on facebook a few times, it's very warm that he's welcomed and picked such a strong love for our club.
Is there a way we could make this happen with the club and fundraise for flights and hotel for him and maybe a family member/friend? Or am I being unaware on flight situations from his home country.....
I'm sure it would be something that would make his life!1 -
Brilliant stuff from all concerned!1
