PressureBall

Just watched a podcast with Jed Wallace, ex-Millwall, as main guest where he described us as playing 'Pressureball' in the same vein as BazBall - and that we were more Millwall than Millwall in the way we play - all said in a positive tone.

Think that’s quite a good way of describing it. Whether we’ve got the ball or don’t, we look to put teams under pressure

The podcast if anyone's wondering: https://open.spotify.com/episode/7gak7wV3jK5Xle6vDDcgSf

Jed Wallace very complimentary of Tanto, said he's the nicest man in football.
  • Once you posted I had a quick look for that podcast. Very impressive knowledge from Jed Wallace. Was very complimentary of Tanto. Saying he's the best lad he has ever come across as he shared a dressing room with him at Millwall. Said he is the most hard working of players he's ever seen. Battles and never gives up.

The pressureball is a good way of describing our tactics. Jed said the valley is probably one of the hardest places to go to and try and get a result with how we set up and that our players coming in from the bench means you have no let up in the pace and pressure.
