What a time for us perennial Docherty believers
Well quiet, I mean he was not at this level last year - but he was no where near as bad as people made out.
Last season he looked like a competent but unexceptional L1 midfielder. This season his level has raised significantly.
Being underdogs most of the time really suits him.

In the Champ he runs, presses and wins second balls all day. He only needs to get going forward in the right moments, like we’ve seen tonight and on Saturday.

In L1 we wanted him to take of control games, and regularly score and create as well as offer what he does defensively.

Ozo on for Adams, who was on 4 yellows and was battling a lot with Carey.
Should make them a bit more open at the back though
  • That’s one of the best team goals I’ve ever seen, so many players could have been selfish but played it utterly beautifully.

Derby down our right, cross goes onto the roof of the net.

We’ve looked comfortable and my only concern is that they get a cheap penalty. I agree Kerman looks more at home but I’m interested in what our subs bring

Second half starts rather like the first half with Derby going close...

Derby defender heads back to his keeper with Kelman bearing down, looked a wee bit panicky

Decided not to post during the match & will try to be more positive (or less negative if you like). So my HT musings.....

Good so far but they look dangerous when they attack, although our defending is stopping any real chances. Ramsey is half the player he was before his suspension & would like to see Burke come on instead.

Kelman has been unlucky. Could have nicked a goal with a keeper blunder & his take for our goal was superb.

TC doesn't do enough for me. Should be driving into the box more & causing more problems.

    Any finally the goal........

    HE  SHINNED  IT !!!
Which is exactly how he wanted to hit it.

Maybe Sheff Utd were right to sack him last time.

Derby come forward but the ball isn't much cop and Ramsay watches it run out for a goal kick.

After the debate over Tanto's goal vs. Sheff Utd, I expect a full blown debate at FT over whether Bree's goal was intentional or not ;)

the Alfie May fans on here demanding that Olaofe should be brought on, bore off.
I do not understand this comment.

Do they think Olaofe is Alfie May in blackface?

Double erk, Carey dawdling on the edge of our box gets the ball nicked off him, and now we're under pressure.
  • Ooo got lucky with some sleepy play from Derby there!!
