There are so many great photos in the thread that we thought it would be a good idea to hold a competition!

It’s open to all members, rules are simple!

Only one photo per member
Photo must have been taken in 2025
It can be of any subject you like but, please, keep it family friendly!
Entries are to be made by replying to this thread, NO COMMENTS PLEASE ONLY ENTRIES!!!!

The Competition closes at the end of October, when the thread will be locked (please admin).

Myself, @johnboyuk and Aled from Clifton’s will choose our top ten images. The judges decisions will be final.

Members will vote then and choose the winning entry. Results will be announced at the end of November and the Queen or King of Charlton Life Photography will be crowned (well sort of).

Now the good bit, the lovely guys at Clifton Cameras will give the winner a £50 voucher to spend with them. Clifton’s are based in Gloucestershire and cater for all levels of Photography. Running workshops locally and across the UK. Catering for all fields such as Wildlife, Landscape, Drone, Aviation etc. Whatever you need they can help and they will do their best to get you the best price possible!

So if you shoot Nikon, Canon, Sony, Fuji, Pentax, Panasonic, OM system, iPhone, Android, Hasselblad, Leica, fly a DJI or use a Kodak point and shoot, have a go!

Just a thought, I don’t if there’s any mileage in this idea, but could something like the countryfile calendar be undertaken using say the best 12 photographs, and say donate the profits to say the upbeats or similar.
