I'm amazed Ben Davies still gets a game for Wales.
He hasnt had a single minute at Spurs this season (and rightly so!). Great club servant and all that but he is too slow for the PL now.0 -

Wales scouting must be terrible if Lloyd Jones doesn't get in this team , also if you compare Chris Gunter with Jones who played about a million games,for them, its astonishing1

That's because Jones told them where to go as he's holding out for a place in the England squad!
He did play 11 times for Wales U17 and once for their U19s but then switched and turned out for both the England U19s and U20s.

Just got in from Wembley.
Wales didn’t put up much of a fight, but have to give us credit for absolutely demolishing them in 20 minutes. Wales have a side made up of Premier League / Champ level players who Bellamy would have fired up for this. We weren’t up against Liechtenstein or Moldova.
And Tuchel is absolutely spot on with his comments about the atmosphere. Wembley is an absolute corporate borefest, and everything about the experience there is designed to make it as sanitised as possible.2 -
Wembley is our national stadium but it comes alive for playoffs etc. Euro 2020 v Germany and Denmark the atmosphere was ridiculous, it’s never gonna come close for a friendly or qualifier,so I’m not sure what people expect.cafctom said:Just got in from Wembley.

- Have the away fans closer to the main supporters group
- Stop distributing paper tickets to everyone so that they get distracted by making paper airplanes
- Prevent cap cheats being able to get away with not turning up and still getting their points. The amount of empty seats last night was obvious.
But the FA won’t want to fix the above because frankly they want a sanitised, overly family friendly environment for England games. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing - but if it’s too sanitised then it will come at a cost of the atmosphere being completely absent.
I agree it’s never really going to be the same for friendlies as it is competitive finals or tournaments, but if the first team manager of the England team is willing to have a moan about it publicly after a 3-0 win then surely that says something about how bad it is.0 -
I've been to England qualifiers at Wembley and the atmosphere has been good, but we never seem to have a qualifying campaign with any jeopardy, so people rock up, expecting the team to roll over everyone like last night.
Wembley itself isn't the problem, see the playoffs, Champions League finals, Euros etc for proof0
