Instead we are SIXTH in the championship!! Get in there !

It is amazing - I was really pessimistic coming into the season but to be in a playoff place in November, well above both Birmingham and Wrexham, is fantastic.

I’m not popping the champagne yet, and survival is the goal still but we’ve given ourselves a great chance of achieving that goal.

Yep, I had a similar thought. Let's hope Tamworth don't knock us out in the 3rd Round, as it will make national newspaper headlines.

Unlikely to be any glory in the third round for us (unless we beat the Arse or Man City)...

Roll forward to the 3rd round against lower league opposition...

Pre match "we're taking this competition seriously, but 11 changes from the previous league game"

Post match "we put out a side we thought were capable of winning the game. We didnt. But we've learnt a few things about the character of the squad this afternoon"

Im genuinely very happy not to be involved in round 1 though 🤣😂

The 1940's excepted of course and way before my time, i always thought that the FA in FA Cup stood for "fuck all".  Then i realised it was just because i was an Addick.

It's going to be very weird if we get Luton.

I remember as a kid seeing protest banners up saying "25 years of Sweet FA". I remember asking my dad what 'Sweet FA' meant. "Nothing" he said.
"It must mean something dad, or they wouldn't have written it".
"No son, it just means Nothing".
"Yeah, but what does it really mean dad"...
