As Dinah Washington sang, "What a difference a day makes". If you picked any of the Saturday Premier League games, you were likely one of the many who cashed in on predictable results, as Leeds beat West Ham 2-1, Newcastle beat Fulham 2-1, while Manchester United beat Brighton. Indeed, Bruno Guimarães 90th-minute winning goal for Newcastle added 130-odd points to this week's total amongst Prediction Leaguers. However, if you chose any of the three Sunday Premier League games, you would have had to have been one of seven competitors who scraped a point from Villa's 1-0 win over Man City, Burnley's win at Wolves, or Tottenham's convincing win at Everton. Stepping confidently through this minefield was @covered_end_junior, who impressively got all three predictions right to become our second 10-pointer of the 25-26 Prediction League. Not far behind were @fattmatt and @North Lower Neil with an excellent 8 points, and @NorthheathAddick, @Tutt-Tutt and @walshiesleftfoot with a very creditable 7 points. At the top of the pile, @JustFloydRoad opened up a 4-point gap, while @Sonicstud85 extended the run of scoring 2+ to 8 weeks. Six Lifers just shrugged their shoulders and muttered 'well, of course' when Luke Berry nodded home our late equaliser at Hull; optimism wasn't so high on the Match Thread before the goal went in. 1-0 home win was the most successful scoreline this week with four in the Championship. Don’t blame me if you switch to 1-0 next week and games mostly end 2-1.

Well pleased with that!

I was in Berlin over the weekend and went to watch Hertha Berlin vs Düsseldorf. 

I thought I'd put a bet on just to make it a little more interesting given I obviously don't support either side. So I put £5 on a 1-0 Hertha Berlin win for £47.50 return.

96th minute and Hertha scored! so 4/4 for me this weekend

You get a bonus point if you are the only person to get the score of any match correctly. Therefore, you can score 4+3+1 or, less likely, 4+4+0. The bonus point winners are listed in the Mini Statbank.
