You would think EFL wheel of fortune could put in some alogrythm to get closer to home fixtures
out of 23 clubs, we have around around 9 fixtures which fans can get to on trains or drive isn't too difficult
& get back to use tube etc. Boro away in March really?

EASY: Millwall , QPR , Watford , Oxford
MID: Bristol City, Ipswich, Pompey, Saints, Norwich,
    MORE TRICKY: Coventry, Birmingham, WBA
    EFL COMPUTER MALFUNCTION....oop north !
EFL COMPUTER MELTDOWN - SACK THE FOOL IN CHARGE ....Boro away on a Tuesday night in March???
Operation Riverside 2 get those three planes out of mothballs and here we go.

Can't convince any of my regulars to attend this one so could be a lonely trip for me.

Looking at the tickets - currently seems like we've sold out block 36 with probably just under half of block 35 remaining unsold. According to AI that means we've sold about 530 tickets so far. Absolutely no idea if that is correct though.

Valley away pick up 1.pm seems a tad early. Should be about 3pm ,,,, or am I missing something?

The Valley to the bet365 in a coach up the M6 on a cold wet Tuesday is at least four hours, could be more. 3.00pm would be too late for comfort.

36 I don’t think has gone on sale, it’s just the disabled bays. Looks like a few hundred sold in 35

I did think that could have been the case but seems like such a weird way to do it considering 35 and 36 are away fans only (unlike 37/38 that can be either home or away).

Not sure the benefit from not just releasing both blocks at once in this scenario?

Oh well, far less than 530 tickets sold so far then unsurprisingly!
  • Lets get 1k to this!
Just got my ticket & train (2.33pm out / 22.40 rtn) for £80 not bad.

Week to go and looks like the fair pricing has paid off, looking like a more than decent 650-700 sold for this so far. Great midweek support for this time of year.

It helps of course to have wealthy owners who are fans as well, but Stoke's pricing strategy is an exemplar - for example, their season ticket prices have been frozen for the past 18 years! Free coach travel to all away games as well, which has been in place for 13 years.

  • Honestly thought we’d take about 300 to this so 700 is great support if that’s what we’ve sold

This doesn't really appeal, but I'll be tempted if we win on Saturday

Pretty good sales so far for a game for a game that suffered from the ‘hangover’ of the Wrexham game ending our run and being followed by the international break. A win on Saturday might tempt quite a few people to go I suspect particularly as they can’t go to Coventry if they haven’t already secured a ticket for that one.

The vast majority of those going to Stoke will be at Coventry. If you haven’t got the points for Coventry, in general (not all cases) you’re not the sort of person that will go to Stoke on a Tuesday night (imo)
  • Does anyone know if tickets will be available on the night?. Its going to be a late decision for me. Cheers

I doubt they'll be available for the away end.
If you can make the decision the day before you can probably collect your ticket on the night.

Not a chance I would suggest.

Don’t forget it’s expected to be a no sales at the ground job, so order via club today to pick up at ground

A timely reminder. Just a pity that the club doesn’t do something similar to encourage support. I may be wrong, so correct me if I am, but it looks like the only mention of the game by the club that was issued seems to be when they went on sale (3weeks or so ago ?).

What is the reasoning behind this when there are many seats still available for away supporters?

I'm assuming the away end will already be mapped out for segregation and Stoke will have likely sold seats in adjacent blocks. It isn't a stand alone stand now that the corner has been filled in.

Been the same all season with the ticket information for games being put out and then with the stance this season not to update how tickets have been sold for each game every working day.

My cynical head tells me it’s about Charlton TV and getting as much as money in that way.

However it’s not putting of us fans attending these games and with impressive numbers to boot as well.

I can understand not opening new blocks, but there are spare seats within the existing Charlton areas. It's not as if vast numbers will turn up on the night without tickets, 10-20 people at most I imagine.
