KAMINSKI: 7 - Couple of good saves, couple of good claims. Kicking was meh.

GILLESPHEY: 7.5 - Was a bit more exposed with Hernandez to his left instead of Bell but overall solid. Mopped up a lot.
BREE: 7 - Solid but unspectacular. Struggled to get into the game in an attacking sense. Finished strong like so many others.
CAREY: 8.5 - What is left to say about him? He breaks the lines. He picks the ball up and runs at defenders. He can score from anywhere. He leads the press and occupies the oppositions' number 6. He can drop deeper, play as an 8, and run at defenses from there. He is a lot of fun to watch. And even on nights like tonight where he's double marked he stayed patient, grew into the game, and had a telling contribution.
COVENTRY: 8 - Kept things ticking over in possession and broke up play when it got forward. Standard Coventry stuff.
DOCHERTY: 7 - Enough will be said about that penalty but he put himself about and had some good contributions going forward.
HERNANDEZ: 7 - File this under the "Did his job without being spectacular." Looks like a fun, quick, strong little player. As I said on the match thread you don't have to watch him for very long to understand why he's an NJ player.
LEABURN: 6.5 - Won the header for the penalty and when we got it to his feet or his chest he looked better but Krystian Bielik remains an excellent defender and didn't give Miles any joy.
CAMPBELL: 6 - Quiet until he moved to LWB, which might be a sign of things to come. Won the corner for the goal and linked up very well with Fullah down that left hand side. Kept going for 90 minutes despite disappearing for large stretches and it was because of that contribution that we won. Always a thread, just needs half a yard.

It's not surprising, but the idea of being able to bring him and Knibbs and either Leaburn or Tanto or Kellman or Apter against tiring defenses shows the difference between this season and our last season in the Championship. Yes, injuries are a problem right now. But we're bringing in youngsters like him and not Ben Dempsey.
