Not realistic but I'd like us to sign Tolaj from Plymouth. He's strong with his hold up play and will probably make the step up to this league
We have rather a lot of players who still need to get used to the step up in leagues - I would prefer someone with Championship experience to help the current crop progress.

Problem is, anyone currently at a Championship club will most likely be on wages that we can't match.
  • NJ needs to use the loan market. It sounds nice having a squad of owned players rather than loanees, so that when you improve them you get the benefit (and financial benefit) but that assumes they actually improve.

Looking at the players in the summer we paid fees for, the likes of Kelman, Knibbs, Tanto, Apter, RC, Kaminski and Burke, who out of them is likely to be worth more money than we paid? If anything, most will have gone down in value.
We have a few positions where the players are not fast enough for the Championship, sadly.

One of the reasons why Nathan Jones needs to get PL loans.

Again not a rumour but a more realistic target, if Jones ever buries this stupid no loans policy.

Harry Amass loan ends in a few weeks and we could defo use someone like him at LWB and surely even we are more attractive than Sheff Weds right now …

Get him and Hardie in early and it will make a huge difference!

A good call. Amass was a Watford academy player, so won't mind moving down south either.

Amass would be a cracking signing for us. Would be the perfect fit for our system.

Wonder how many chances he would accumulate ...🤔

Not a rumour but just a suggestion. Would anyone on here take Todd Cantwell? I know him and NJ have got a close relationship and the rumours from the Blackburn end is that he is unhappy there. He undoubtedly has quality but know his wage would be pretty steep. Any thoughts about him?

The no loans policy that excludes Bree, Gilbert, McIntyre, Allan Campbell, the Chelsea striker we missed out on and the Arsenal GK who we also missed out on.

Yeah not worth the hassle. Really talented player but terrible attitude problems.

I mentioned we should have got him when Wednesday did as the left back cover I think a while ago,not sure we have much chance of it now apparently a couple of premiership clubs have enquired about him on loan according to the United site.I'd like to be surprised though.

No, he'd be a car crash of a signing.
    Possible strike partner for Bonne

    Hernandez out injured now too.
At last, a stroke of luck!
A winger who couldn't go past anyone and a full back who could never get back in time.
He's good with his hands ✋✋
  • How much would we have to pay to get Lookman from Atalanta ?  o:)

Not serious, only joking, but just wondering in case we got promoted next season

Perhaps we could use extending A Mitchell's loan as leverage for Tolaj if they're looking to sell. Don't know if they are though, the locals would be furious.

Mitchell’s loan is to the end of the season anyway
