The Ref getting 3.34 and lower than any individual member of a team that has lost 5-1 at home suggests that he was more responsible, than any of our players be that individually or collectively (average 4.42). As poor as he might have been, I'm not sure that total makes sense.
In fact, thinking of that, has there ever been a Ref that got a higher mark than the MOM? The best Refs are the ones that make the right decisions but are rarely noticed because they keep control of the game in a fair and quiet manner.3 -
