Without "late stage capitalism", you wouldn't be flying to Madrid for £20.cantersaddick said:Extract extract extract. It's all that matters in the race to the bottom that is late stage capitalism.
As you well know there are thousands of scenarios between late stage capitalism (which actually no longer meets the key tenets of capitalism and is actually large scale monopolism/oligopoly - sometimes referred to as technology fuedalism) before you arrive at anything even close to Marxism.
But continue the bootlicking. I'm sure one day the rich and powerful Epstien class will notice you and thank you for propping them up.
For someone that likes to display their intellectual capacity with gay abandon, that is embarrassing.

I've always done this it's actually quite funny the amount of people waiting there not giving in to the greedy twats.palarsehater said:Other half is Irish and generally back in Ireland every other weekend so I regularly pick up on a Sunday eve and i tend to pick her up a the McDonald’s near Gatwick South. It’s about £300 a year we save1 -
At the point where we are now, it does feel a bit that way SA. Unless you are one of the people hoarding all the cash?SporadicAddick said:

Screaming "Marxism" at any hint of criticism of the system is exactly that. YepSporadicAddick said:

As said there are many pro-capital systems that aren't this one and are still miles away from Marxism.1 -
Did we lose yesterday by any chance? 😀😉3

Karl Marx himself said he wasn’t a ‘Marxist’. Indeed there is evidence that he was rather an insensitive financial freeloader on the back of his loyal friend Engles.
However virtually nobody who goes on about either the good or bad aspects of Marx bother to quote something he actually wrote in order to illustrate a point.
Anyway squeezing or exploiting people for their money or labour can just as easily be filed under evil ‘capitalism’ as evil ‘communism’.
The problem with drop off grifting is really about hitting those who can’t use public transport to an aerodrome because they have a lot of luggage, or maybe because of young children.0 -
Also overlooked is that public transport (which I use all the time) can't always be relied on. No trains at all in the Wimbledon area this weekend and next weekend.
A tortuous journey to SE7 for me, and giving much of SW London and Surrey little option but to drive to airports0 -
In case anyone is thinking of driving to Southend Airport, I've just been told that the car park by the shops that people used to use to avoid being stung is now a no-no. Apparently they now have wardens going around checking where people go. For the moment, I would imagine that it's probably still easy enough to use the council estate over the road, but I expect it's only a matter of time before enough locals get pissed-off for it to become another bloody CPZ.0
