    How come they can develop a missile that can hit a postage stamp from 500 miles away but can't come up with something to prevent this?

    I guess the missiles that can hit postage stamps need to be pre-programmed to a target or directed in by spotters on the ground, this is responding to a sudden call for support, a bit different I guess, but clumsy all the same.
