We're just about to leave, it's probably the away game I've been to most outside of London.

A win would be great but a point away from home will do.

    Kelman on the scoresheet again.

Looks like we’re wearing the black kit. Odd choice.

I thought having the same sponsors on our kits this season meant we wouldn’t have the silliness of not wearing red when possible?

Long shot - anyone know what pubs in Charlton are open in the evening on Boxing Day?
The river ale house is open 2-7 today

Important to get something out of our next few games. With our recent form and new manager they will be looking at us like we did Oxford to progress up the league. We must also get something from each of our next 3 away games, not expecting anything from Coventry as they are way above us in quality.

Anyone else at the 1988 game at Carrow Rd, where we beat a top-of-the-table Canaries team 3-1, with Magic Morts, Paul Williams, Carlo and Micky Bennet running riot?

Fantastic day out that was, may have even been our first win of that season?

Can only really remember Morts goal, which was his standard slalom run before rolling it into the corner....
Yep - I was there - in the home stand with my Norwich supporting mate - he had a major sense of humour bypass when I was running up and down the steps of the stand celebrating our 3rd goal - Morts was imperious that day, WHAT a goal 😍

Thanks to the person who looks after the OS, they have put 'pin the score' back. Very handy to keep up with the game time when on mobile
  • Fancy us to get something from today. Hopefully Bell is back in the squad today. Safe travels to the faithful making the trip today. Last time I went to see us at Norwich was the 99/00 season. Hunt hat-trick.

    Correct.

Although I think he ran into him rather than pushed him. Ref stacked it and either knocked himself out or suffered whiplash and couldn't carry on. Sub lino came on with one of the linos moving to ref and with not long to go Melrose smashed in a "winner" from outside the box only for the lard arse to blow up for a free kick - to us!

    Yes he did 1-1

    Easter whenever  we lost 5-0

1-0 win for us from our new striker, trying to remember his name? ( worked on Radio).
    About early 90s .

3-1 win for us with that wonder goal .

Sure I have been to more than those four games .

But as for today depends on players that Nathan picks. Think a point would be a good result but can see only a defeat.

I'll take a scrappy 1-1. No Shane Duffy today he's out injured enjoying pints with other people's wives

Throughout my many years supporting Charlton I've had a few Boxing Days ruined but please don't spoil this one Charlton. I'm married to a Norwich supporter and I can't stand the thought of him sitting there happily singing On the Ball City while I cry into my eggnog! Come on you Red Red Robins and knock those Canaries off their perch!

Surely we score our first penalty today 0-1

At least he won't be the designated driver.
