    I can't drive but here's a classic in a shitty brown colour.

    Citroen 2CV
It’s the only car I ever truly ‘owned’.
    I’ve had three.
Sprout, a green and white D reg Dolly.
Delilah, a plums and custard G reg.
And Robyn, a red and white D reg Dolly.
From walking passed the Citroen garage on London Rd as a kid dreaming of owning one, to actually having one and the adventures I had in them (driving my Dad to and from my sisters in France when he had the chance to go with any other of my siblings and when he died his imprint was still on the back seat) the reality of actually owning your dream car is amazing.
    I can’t afford/justify one now.

  • Find most modern cars pretty boring. Love old Italian and French cars but obviously they would all be unreliable...

When I was about 18, back in 1981, I always wanted to own a BMW 316, absolutely loved them. Never got one though ☹️

Triumph TR4 absolute classic from my teens...
I took part in a historic rally a couple of years ago in a TR4. A fantastic experience:

    Ferrari Dino convertible
Nerd fact, although it was built by Ferrari it wasn’t originally marketed as one. It was badged as a Dino 246.

Visited Maranello and the 2 Ferrari museums in October with my old man. Was a brilliant trip that I can thoroughly recommend for any car enthusiasts

Went in April myself, some of the cars they have are absolutely beautiful, and the history behind them awe-inspiring.

Wondered if there were any famous cars from old shows or just an old classic that you would love to have.

Number one on my list has to be the Consul GT from The Sweeney.

Followed by the Vauxhall Cresta in the Ghost Town video.

Nailed it in one, Vauxhall PA Cresta. As a car someone like me could realistically afford, never bettered.

Would a 1958 Plymouth Fury called Christine be a wise choice?

The Mk1 Escort got remade. Probably the car I would go for first if I suddenly had a fuckton of money.

The Peugeots look even better in the metal, hard to reconcile them with all the eurodross they made until recently.  Rare as rocking horse shit - they were as soluble as any car ever made

Will always be a 1969 Charger in green with a stick shift. Followed closely by a Corvette C4 ZR-1
