    RIP. I recall getting a football game called big league where you could paint the players which my dad did in Arsenal v Chelsea colours. He was on the front of the box. Good striker.

    I remember going to Southampton on the first day of the season v Wolves in about 1964. I was returning from holiday to the IoW and diverted  from Portsmouth to Southampton for the match.

    Wolves scored after about 90 secs via an own goal. Southampton went on to win 9-3, with Chivers scoring 5 goals
