Time to say thank you for getting us up Nath but we'll take you up on your offer of last December of tearing up your deal?12

Having just seen that Brereton-Diaz chance again, Gillesphey runs past Anderson hoping someone will pass it to him (through at least one Derby player) and then as soon as we lose the ball he starts slowly jogging back. Anderson hasn't noticed so doesn't bust a gut to cover the space. Poor from both of them0

Get him on for second halfBriston_Addick said:CROSSBAR CHALLENGE WINNER!!!

I was thinking the exact same thing about Rousillon.LargeAddick said:Will we see Lloyd second half? How poor must Roussillon be to not even get a go on the left ahead of TC (who I feel sorry for, he's not a defender so why play him there). A total lack of creativity in the team. Leaburn and Dykes not working, would rather one of them alongside Kelman then Godden on second half with the other. Really can't see where a goal is coming from tonight. The team set looked wrong from start. Hoping NJ sorts it out for the 2nd half.1 -
Not as bad as Saturday, but still awful. No urgency, movement, idea. One pass forwards then two back...
Not many options at the back. So as long as Jines continues leave alone. Up front we need a runner so Kelman or Godden on asap. Doc for Karoy might help too.... Nothing else, just more, and quicker.

Almost 3 weeks into the transfer window and we still have Campbell and Gillesphey on the left hand side. Mismanagement.6

I hope that isn't for Jones, but bet it iscafcsinger said:Fullah and Clarke are coming on1 -
Play a flat back 4. The change is United against City was amazing and why? Because they didnt have the players to play wing backs.2
-
Betting that's for Leaburn/Dykes and Burke. Ramsay to RCB and TC up front. Maybe even Macca off and Ramsay LCB?cafcsinger said:Fullah and Clarke are coming on1 -
2 big lumps up top was never going to work ! NJ lost the plot2

Another dire 45 minutes of sideways backwards dross !! JRC on for Anderson at halftime please ! We need someone with a forward pass. I know it’s a results based business but these performances really are making us a tough watch. If I was Apter I would be putting in a transfer request as NJ clearly won’t go for creativity0

Come on Ibby, your chance to show NJ it’s time to start giving you more minutes.cafcsinger said:Fullah and Clarke are coming on1 -
Two crap teams, they have been slightly less crap... This is like watching a league 1 game1

Covering defender was no where near him. If Clarke didn’t bring him down there’s no way the other one would have got across in time.Chizz said:1 -

One shot on target after 30 minutes and it was a free kick. The guy clear down the right should have made it 2-0, the only consolation is that we are still in it at 1-0 down.0

Seriously getting pissed off with the manager's belligerence and stubbornnes.
Honestly don't get why he bought Apter.
We've already seen that TC and Gillesphey on the left is suicidal.
No-one able to pick a pass, get a second ball and pass forward.
Slow, ponderous, utterly devioid of ideas and confidence.
No-one can ever predict what team he'll put out, and I think this throwing shit at the wall approach has really fucked up our confidence - you can see players aren't sure exactly what they're meant to be doing, not able to support each other. It's desperate.
(We'll probably win now somehow!*)

I never go OTT but that was a shambles.
Carey the only person at least who tried to run with the ball going forward. Good result for CAFC so far as it should be 0-3 and game over.
That was turgid and depressing with a side low on confidence compared to early season.
Big 45 minutes needed and I would put Apter on with Kelman before we go 2 down. JRC for Anderson as well at HT.

Jones has to take a lot of the blame for this recently. I’m saying the same every week:
you cannot give up possession and set up to counter if you’re then going to be slow and ponderous when you win the ball back. Counter attack with some bloody speed and urgency. It’s coaching, you cannot keep blaming the players.
And now that we’ve signed Dykes to partner Leaburn, it’ll get worse. Win the ball and pump it up to those two. Both can do more than that but Jones won’t care.
