Good to see Fullah on the bench
  • Can't believe Anderson starts after that League 2 display on Saturday
Put in one of his better performances playing in the box to box role earlier in the season though, he's just not a positionally disciplined holding midfielder
He has some merit as a duracell bunny putting himself about late in games, beyond that he is brain dead and technically embarrasing

Docherty, Berry, Fullah and JRC on the bench and no Apter? What a joke. Nothing like keeping it balanced and making sure you have a few areas covered…….idiotic from Jones.

And one of the worst performers from Saturday keeps his place…..

Got to feel sorry for Apter, the treatment of him has been awful, got player of the month and then hardly seen since, whilst the likes of shite players like Anderson gets endless chances.

27th game of the season and still miles away from us knowing what side to expect, speaks volumes.

You want TC defending against CBT?

On the downside I am stuck at work so won't be able to make the match.

On the upside I am stuck at work and so won't be able to see our LHS getting ripped to shreds

What annoys me and others is that Apter showed something when we did get to see him. Plus he has a reputation but now it seems to me he must be on the way out cos Nathan doesn't see him as a option in his system..
  • He really doesn’t rate Apter does he!

I mean, if we have both Leaburn and Dykes on the field, would make sense to have someone who can cross a bit. Maybe Coventry in the pocket going first time will be the play rather than Ramsey trying his hand at it

In fact, I'm gonna call a Coventry assist in this game

Be interested to see how Leaburn goes tonight. By default of his size he gets pushed into the target man role, but I think he is better playing off someone so let’s see how he goes with Dykes

He is not, to be fair. We don''t play with wingers. Begs the question why we bought him tho.

Goalkeepers are doing their warm ups, currently practising their kicking (although they could be preparing to take over free kick duties 25 yards out in the absence of Bree) ...

Anyway, the goalkeeper coach hit the crossbar TWICE in succession from that range and just as I started typing this one of the keepers rattled the woodwork but didn't see who it was.

Do they share the Crossbar Challenge jackpot?

Anyone not twatting it 700 foot in the air up to Dykes & Leaburn tonight is getting fined

I just don't get the management of Apter. Totally bizarre for someone that was seen as a statement signing in the summer and started really well. We don't need Berry and Fullah both on the bench as 10 options and Apter actually having a final ball would be really useful with Dykes and Leaburn.

How on earth does Anderson start after Saturday

Don't mind Anderson starting with Coventry, although I would have played JRC. We surely can't be worse than Saturday but Leaburn and Dykes just screams hoofball from Gillesphey, which did actually result in our goal on Saturday but is dire to watch. There won't be any running in behind with the 2 big lads up front.

The weird thing with Apter is, out of all the players who’ve had a go at filling in at LWB, he probably had the best game of any of them vs. Oxford. I’d have been happy to see him tried there again on the basis of that game but he’s been absent since.

He could be injured, of course. I would have otherwise expected him to at least be on the bench as that front two will need crosses and he’s probably the best crosser at the club now Bree has gone back to Southampton.

Is apter injured or just not liked by Nathan?
Probably something he does in training or he's too attacking

There are a couple of six pointers tonight..
    West Brom v Norwich
    Swansea v Blackburn

...We really do need to bag the three points tonight...

Have been convinced for a while that Jerome will get the winner on Saturday. Good to see him back involved ready for that

    Really?!

I know Karoy isn't everyone's favourite and I'm probably more tolerant of him than most but the sideways/backwards passing isn't exclusively his fault.

Sideways or backwards seems to be the main directions of passing anywhere up to the half-foward line ... and there are plenty of yellow card candidates in our team too.
  • Anderson....Wow!  Hope im proved wrong.
