I don’t let my dog watch Charlton with me , She’s a Strippy Nigel and the smug look on her face is unbearable

This will be my first match without my Charlton watching buddy, Lucy. She never failed to watch, or more often sleep through, a match in her Charlton collar. But she loved the clapping I would do when we scored. She passed away in our arms on Sunday. She was so, so loved.
RIP. Lucy. Let's get a win for her.  COYRs
This is why I love Charlton Life so much. No amount of 200 new posts on a "Rumours" thread, NONE OF WHICH ARE RUMOURS , can take that away.

Let's get a goal for Lucy, so I can picture her wagging her little tale again.

    You Reds

Poxy weather. GTR trains cancelled, so only South Eastern running through Charlton, poxy Kick off time, too risky to rely on the trains, so Mr Khan gets another £12.50 off me, roll on the spring. Winge over,  cmon you Reds !

Sorry to hear that #SD. Hurts a lot to lose a life companion. Just to echo what has already been said, hopefully Lucy is frolicking in the meadows above.

    Sorry for your loss.

Lost mine back in July 2025, still hurts and miss him.

I hope it won’t be long before you can look back and smile at the great life you had together.

Sorry for your loss, I know only too well the heartache of losing a much loved pet. May she be at peace 🌈

Ben Jay 's Annual Fund Raiser - TONIGHT

Cut and post from @Fanny Fanackapan thread, hopefully ok

Today is also World Cancer Day and on Friday evening, friends & family will be making a bucket collection outside The Valley to raise funds for Young Lives v Cancer in Ben's name - The Ben Jay Butterfly Fund. We know that you will contribute but please spread the word & a reminder to bring some cash to this match.
Will be mentioned at half time as well.
Hopefully the buckets get nice and heavy...🙌

Love that lineup I think we get the 3 points tonight. I’m hoping we are comfortable with 20 mins to go and we bring on the leopard to keep the Kenyan fans hooked

Watching QPR in the warm up, they look technically much better than us.   I don't usually believe in this shite, but I have a bad feeling anout tonight.

    Prove me wrong boys!!

Saito on his own has more skill than all of ours combined. But Conor Coady is going to sit on him

Fcking nightmare getting here. The most crowded train I've ever been on. Anyway UTA. Come on boys.
  • Feel like the last three games we've on Sky (Millwall, Leicester now QPR) its all been about them, with us as the afterthought in the build up

Sounds like Joe Walsh (QPR Goalkeeper) is a Charlton fan, as his younger Brother; Harry Walsh is a Charlton mascot tonight
Must have been a fun conversation beforehand...
"Nah sorry, I dont want to walk out at the Valley with you, would rather walk out with Greg Docherty"
