Maybe it’s where I’m sat, but Kaminski would have saved that, looked very soft
Surprised it took so long for this nonsense.

Coventry can get in the bin
He's played well? Put one pass out for a goal kick and had everyone run away from his pass just then. Also, been everywhere and won a bunch of tackles
Backwards, sideways, aimlessly punting it forwards, tried a no look pass up the right wing earlier and it was toss.

Tried similar ball on the left and it went out with a whimper

Tried to pass 10 yards to Ramsay (or Bell, the ball was so shit you couldn't tell) and it split the two and it not only broke down our attack but also set them off on another counter attack

He wins about as many tackles as Docherty has recently, and slows us down so much it's ridiculous

Get your head out his arse
He also played a wonderful crossfield ball to TC in amongst all that and has otherwise recycled well. The balls up the wing are clearly a tactic
One fucking ball, whoop-di-do Basil, sorry for wanting my midfielders to be able to hit their man more than once a fucking half
Ah you're constantly looking to snipe others posts, have a day off

The guy who's established us in this league, hasn't hid, has run a dominant midfield show misplaces a couple of attempted forward passes which he never attempts I thought and he's having a nightmare. You're such cunts honestly

Coventry is the perfect example of the gulf in quality between league one and the championship. Only you are unable to see how limited he is at this level

I did wonder but I think it's just too far away and Mannion's vision is blocked. He did go down very slowly though

Think we've been decent today, a little unfortunate and definitely wasteful in terms of chances but still well in this atm

    JRC coming on
  • Very frustrating to be behind, easily could have scored one or more and then a moment of quality up the other end does us. Definitely a foul on TC in the build up but then Collins gets dragged out of position.

On the other hand, have played very well, moved the ball nicely and if we play like that half for the rest of the season we'll stay up comfortably

maybe get fevrier on for ramsah? overload that left hand side with Campbell down there as well
Chambers the obvious replacement. Especially with Ramsay booked and a sub window used already

People watching a different game here... Cov has been decent other than 2 wayward passes and we have been the better team by a mile
People still desperate to find a way to stick the boot in two years later is all it is.

Should be 2 - 1 up. Clarke now owes us 2 goals. More needed from Carey. Bell doing the work of 2 men as ramsay plays left winger. Coventry trying to play. Much better watch than recent games. A mixture of brilliant or terrible from TC. Looking forward to second half, got to make sure heads dont drop we are playing well.

Fuck me 48 mins played and Charlton life loses its mind. Leuth, its about opinions mate, just because people stated that Coventry may or may not be having a good game is no reason for you to declare that they are cnuts.

Didn't take our chances, they scored against the run of play. Clarke should have scored, Berry should have pulled the trigger earlier. Playing quite well. TC well off it on my opinion, seems back on his heels, not anticipating stuff. Next goal crucial.
thought TC has been pretty good taking on two three players at a time
Been his best game for shielding the ball and spinning away to space as well. Certainly not someone I'd be criticising first half
  • Doesn't say much for NJ's team selection all these HT subs.

They can afford finishers, we can’t.
Or we just don't spend it wisely enough.
Mmm, wouldn’t be surprised if they had the highest players budget in the league, we have a confirmed bottom three. Gulf is enormous.
I agree. But when it's a fact that two players that we've actually spent money on are now out on loan, and one of the others barely gets off the bench...
All we can afford is taking punts on L1 players making the step up. Some work, Carey, some don’t. Not to say they won’t work out but I suppose it’s not the time to be improving players when we’re in a relegation scrap. There’s a huge difference in fees and more importantly wages between us and most of the league, especially Wrexham.
And do you think that will change in the summer should we stay up ?  Will we spend big to stay up next season or try to do it on a tight budget again ?

We've had 50% possession so far, can't remember the last time that happened

You might have a point if we hadn’t just dominated the first half

More goals in this…need to score first
  • Hmm... Surprised... Feels a game where the "starting eleven" deserve about 10-15mins

Don’t like Ramsay on a yellow on the wrong side….. would have considered Chambers on here at half time
