London Broncos

Have read a fair bit about the investment they have had this summer, so thought I’d watch their game against North Wales Crusaders on YouTube this evening.

Absolutely farcical, they have run in 10 tries in the first half and lead 58-6 at HT. Looking at their results so far this seems par for the course.

I am sure they applied for direct entry to the Super League this year, but were turned down. Looks like that might be a dodgy decision as they are absolutely light years ahead of the rest of this league at the moment.

  • Broncos did amazingly well to get promoted the season before last. Hoping they will be back there very soon.

Now 70-6 5 minutes into the second half!
  • Remember they played at The Valley in the early 80's, and went to see them play a game, can't remember too much about the game, but the half time "entertainment" was The Bay City Rollers...😉

The first game they played at the Valley was in 1995, not the early 80’s

Definitely the 90s. Went to a few games.
  • Fair enough it was 1995, shows how bad I am on remembering dates, was sure it was longer ago...🤦‍♂️

They would have still been Fulham RL in the 1980s I think.

Seem to remember them playing Oldham at The Valley about that time and thinking even the rugby team couldn’t win in SE7.

Seats in directors box as well.

Aren't they on their 5th or 6th iteration? Every season they seem to play in new colours and with a new logo
