A few years ago, he was banging on about how we MUST SIGN Alex Davey, a centre-back on the books of Chelsea, as he was so talented and was better than anything we had. Thought I'd check on Mr Davey right now. Retired at 31 years of age. Never played higher than League One level. There can't be many Charlton fans who've watched Kamara and Holsgrove closely enough to properly judge them, especially Holsgrove given the leagues he's played most of his football in.

And this was what 3 summers ago? Nathan Jones has performed miracles to get us to where we are today. Let’s give him some time and space to get the players in he wants.

Well said! We’ve got the best manager in the league by a distance. Really hope he gets these two big players that could swing our season in the right direction. He deserves it! Incidentally, some were knocking some of Nathan’s signings from last summer. Let’s see with Kelman, Knibbs & Apter.
