The point being that these two clubs have been how loosely linked  with JRS

Hope Laq’s got a better loan, he’s the best u21 CB for me. I’m sure he can play higher than the 6th tier, even if he doesn’t break through with us.

We have made 3 fantastic Signings:

Lloyd Jones, Tyreece Campbell and Kayne Ramsay.

The Charlton I have supported for so many decades used to sell our better or best players on dead line day or at any time during the season before the transfer  window existed.

We had the arsehole Matt Southall 🤦🏾‍♂️once turning Charlton into a laughing stock.

So no complaint from me if certain players don't come to fruition.

We have taken a couple of steps forward and we just need some luck on the injury front.

National League South. But he was always playing a level or two below where he should. I'm wondering if he was sent there purely to stay sharp until we need him

Josh Laq is also comfortable at right back so makes sense to loan out Assiimwe and have Josh not taking up a squad space

Sometimes players are specifically sent on National League loans because they can be recalled. He got some football before the injuries and now he's available to us. Doughty did alright with the switch
