There's a very dodgy looking rumour on Twitter that Skipp might go to Millwall with Coburn going the other way. Doesn't seem likely to me at all though

    Junior Nkeng - welcome to SE7! ✅

Olivier Skipp also could be joining
Do you know if that will be it? Or still a chance for more?

Just to add to the vague posting from the “ITK’s”, as I know we all love that round here.

Geezer claims that the other player they’re working on isn’t Jes in the replies, while a few others are claiming we are still working on Jes. It’s going to be a long day. Strap in folks.

Skipp to sign and show us what a good Championship DM/CM really looks like.

Sorry just fishing to wind up Coventry’s biggest fans 🎣

    Seriously underwhelming.
I’m shocked you’re not positive about this to be honest

If Skipp joins it seems he plays instead of Chalobah or Coventry, a defensive midfielder.

Skipp would be wild. No real opinion on him as a player but didn't Leicester pay £20m for him a couple of years ago?

Interested business. Suspect Skipp will have a bit of quality about him and needs somewhere to restart his career. Wondering where this leaves JRS - still possible I would think
More a replacement for Doc perhaps?

Are we actually linked with Skipp? Or is it a 2+2 = 5 situation?

Nkeng’s first senior goals came in the same match last season, playing off the right hand side

I’ve asked my Wimbledon supporting mate about Nkeng and he said:

    ‘Highly rated - how much?’

    Insightful stuff.

Yeah plus five million in addons. I can't profess to have watched him much but he was mint on FM a few years back. Must have 100+ Premier League appearances as well.

I'd ask my AFC supporting mate about Nkeng if I had one.

I asked my Wimbledon supporting mate and he said Nkeng got a wildcard into the qualifying at Roehampton last June 🤷🏻‍♂️

I've spent years mocking my Spurs supporting mate about how useless Oliver Skipp is. I might have to go into hiding!

Genuinely don't see what he offers as a player. Isn't quick, isn't strong, doesn't defend well, can't pass. Hopefully I eat humble pie but I doubt it.

He wasn’t worth that though. Reason why they are in the pickle they are now. I’m not sure how we’d be able to match his wages so is this another loan?

I can’t get my head around Skipp.
It will certainly be a loan, he cost Leicester 20 million quid not three years ago, he’s also seeming on northward of 40 grand a week.

It just seems such an odd signing if it happens even as a loan. Much better to see how we go until Jan then re assess and plug gaps  as needs

Think I'd rather keep Doc around than sign someone like Skipp who just seems on the downslope.

Skipp would be interesting, and if we get the player that has had so much potential then he'd be an valuable asset to the Midfield - Especially if he can add the sort of calm demeanour that we might otherwise lose out on with Chalobah's injury issues.
Junior is an exciting one... Who knows what'll happen with him (Could say that about Skipp), yet its the sort of signing that we've missed out on in recent years, because we've not had the right scouting in place, so anyone with potential has gone elsewhere and we've watched these clubs (like Millwall with Femi Azeez etc.) benefit not just on the pitch, but with progressive fees that they've made from future sales to progress as a Football club.

Still can’t get any brewing link to Junior Nkeng or Wimbledon, must be the midfielder then.
Charlie Webster at Burton is a proper player. Wouldn't mind him
Agree has looked good each time I’ve seen him, if he doesn’t get sent off that is😂, as he got it in him to step up though?

Now that Mills has gone that’s got to be the flood gates open for Oxford, surely there are players that will be demanding a move
Don't see a place for him sadly, as good as he is I'm not sure where he realistically adds given we already need to clear out a few spare midfielders already
He’s better than Cov, Doc and JRC.

Chalobah is a fitness risk given history  and Ouma is an unknown quantity at this stage.

BDK has experience in the champ and plays the sort of game that we require especially now. If we have the cash it seems a no brainer
    Is he back playing?
Thought he had an operation earlier this year on another shoulder injury.
    He's injury-prone? That clinches it. He's ours!

I actually agree with Golfie. A midfielder universally hated by Leicester fans and a winger "for the future". I had hoped for a bit better than that

Isn’t Skipp banned for three matches?
