Surely there is some value in him doing well? It means we will finish higher in the league tableAberystwythAddick said:The Skipp loan would have no value to us whatsoever. If he continues this and last seasons form it’s a waste of a squad space and money from the wages loan fee etc
if he does well he goes back to Leicester where he’s either included in their squad again or we’re priced out of a future transfer.Would much rather we just buried this one.14 -

Did he still have that tear drop as his wonder move to Charlton didn't come off. Hope you asked after his Dad Eric?
Rak-Sakyi and Andy Delort, created so much excitement but some things are just not meant to be.
Tear drops are real for JRS; so near yet so far away.0 -
I presume you've been out of the loop in the last few weeks and are unaware of the other players we failed to sign?JoshAddick said:So the right winger we kept our powder dry for is a 19 year old left winger from AFC Wimbledon who scored 2 goals in 34 games? Got it6 -
Apart from this one , Cawley wouldn’t do that post if it wasn’t basically a done deal.Carl_bratton said:fenaddick said:Wimbledon podcast things Nkeng won't move
It’s my mates pod, he’s normally quite good with his inside knowledge1 -

It's almost as if he played in The Championship and people enjoy watching football isn't it. Helmet.gmantaxi said:Love how so many people are experts on Skipp and have no doubt been following his career closely over the past 2 years.

Steve Brown just said that Okonkwo’s deal is a season long deal that turns permanent at our digression…

Steve Brown thinks we need a 10 but sounds like he doesn’t think we’ll sign one. (Not surprising)0

Andy Delort and Rak Sakyi would have been some attack, mind.soapboxsam said:Radostanradical said:I have just seen Andy Delort at the valley

Tear drops are real for JRS; so near yet so far away.Delort was pretty hopeless at Wigan but then again it would unsettle anybody not getting their dream move to Charlton 🤪
Must be said though, I followed his career quite closely after that and he was absolutely superb in France for Montpellier and Nice.0 -
It’s a supporter focused show on transfer deadline day. Of course they’re going to chat about transfers and what the pundits thoughts areAberystwythAddick said:Why’s is the clubs own YouTube channel speculating about transfers7 -

I get the "but he played for Spurs" / "but he played in the prem" arguments, but just because he played for Spurs in the past doesn't mean he's any good now. Djimi Traoré had played just shy of 100 games for Liverpool, and started in their Champions League final vs Milan, before we signed him. How did that one go?ShootersHillGuru said:Just because we had money for JRS which sadly didn’t happen it doesn’t mean we have to spend it on another player. If our targets are not available or there’s nobody Jones fancies then it’s far better to hold onto the money to either top up in January or to add to next summers budget. Perhaps the “extra” we now have enabled us to sign Nkeng. I’ve no real knowledge of Skipp but you don’t play 70 odd games for Spurs without having something. I think Jones will get it out of him.
Hopefully it's just his confidence is shot at the moment and if he signs he'll get that back with us, but only time will tell, and it's a definite risk if we're paying him anywhere near the wages he's on currently and we end up with the same player the Leicester fans are seeing right now.0 -

I'd argue there are certain positions on the pitch where you actually can be a bit shit and get away with it, particularly when surrounded by good players - holding / screening / break up play midfield players fall bang into that category for me - 'You don't notice all the good work they get through blaa blaa blaah' - they then get found out as they slip down the leagues. Anyway, hope i'm wrong on this one and i trust in NJ that i will be - i never saw or noticed skip at norwich so lets hope he has it somewhere coz i've never seen it.1 -

The question is whether, like legs, your will to ball can simply go, and younger too0

Anyone remember that player from Leicester that their fans hated?mendonca said:The anti-Skipps' are reminding me of the anti-Mcnamaras'.
Just chill and let things be. We have a very intense gaffer that generally takes care of things properly!
Yann something or other?
When you reach the play-offs and a player tries a panenka and a team lose out because of it, there was mitigation for Yann not being Leicester's POTY 😀
Their loss was CAFC gain and Chris Powell getting him to the Valley.
